Book Distributors Reach Out to Russian-Speakers in North America

ISKCON book distributors are constantly trying to find new ways to give out Srila Prabhupada’s books, and new people to reach. One of the biggest niche audiences is the Russian-speaking community in North America – some 7 to 8 million natives of Russia and former Soviet Union countries.

A spiritual Vedic ceremony called Arati was offered to a form of Krishna called Giriraj and the cows to invoke blessings. During the ceremony, all the cows were resting under a group of Live Oak trees which gave them a lot of shade on a hot Fall day. Almost all of these cows were saved when they were about to be slaughtered. A video by ISCOWP.
