Janmastami 2009 photos
Sri Sri Radha Gopivallabha, the presiding Deities of our temple are extremely special. Their Lordships are the first installed and worshiped Radha Krishna deities in New England. They were installed in Boston personally by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada; founder Acharya of ISKCON, 39 years ago. Only once a year, Janmastami, do they have a public abhishek and only at this time do those devotees who are not temple Pujaris get to witness and participate in this most auspicious sacred event. By their mercy, Sri Sri Radha Gopivallabha have opened this event to those devotees who wish to assist the Pujaris. You and your family can take part in this service by sponsoring the Kalash Puja. By doing so, you and your loved ones have the opportunity to personally bathe Radha Gopivallabha by assisting the Pujari pour your sponsored kalash’s contents over Radha & Krishna. Please accept this opportunity to serve Radha & Krishna and to engage your family in this service which will bring all auspiciousness and prosperity to you and them.

This event makes the learning process fun and interactive, which is the best way to help them learn and remember the stories and activities of the Lord.
